MVP Plumbing LLC is a licensed master plumbing company based in Baytown, Texas. We handle residential and commercial service and repair — water heaters, drains, sewer lines, repipes, gas lines and 24-hour emergencies — across Baytown, Mont Belvieu and the surrounding Houston area. We have been doing it since 2018 under Master Plumber License MPL 38224.
We are not the biggest plumbing outfit in the area and we are not trying to be. What we offer is a licensed master plumber who will look at your problem, tell you plainly what is wrong, and tell you what we would do if it were our own house — including the times when the honest answer is that it does not need fixing yet.

Water Heater Repair & Replacement

Three machines sized to the line — tubs and lavatories, kitchen and laundry, main sewer. The right machine matters more than most people realize.
Hydro Jetting
4000 PSI at 9 GPM on lines from two inch to six inch. A cable clears a path; jetting cleans the pipe wall.
Sewer Camera Inspection
We run a camera when something warrants it, not on every job as standard. You should not pay for a picture of a working pipe.
Sewer Line Repair & Replacement
Under-slab and yard sewer lines, including tunneling so the work happens under the slab instead of through your floor.

We tell you when you do not need the work
A customer in Chambers County called about a slow-draining tub. We pulled the overflow faceplate, ran a small drum machine and pulled out a hairball. After that the cable ran through smoothly with nothing catching. It was their first stoppage in six or seven years.
We offered a camera inspection and then told them that if it were our house we would not bother. The hairball came out, the cable ran clean, and nothing about the job pointed to a bigger problem. They would only have been paying an extra charge for a picture of a working pipe.
The same tool, the opposite advice. On a kitchen line in Clear Lake that was sitting full of water, the camera is exactly what told us the line had lost its fall and pulled apart underground. That is what justified tunneling instead of guessing. We run a camera when something tells us to.
We match the repair to your situation, not to a price list
Two customers, both with Moen fixtures, got opposite recommendations from us in the same month.
The first had a leaking two-handle tub valve. Parts to rebuild it were several days out, and the repair would have cost nearly as much as replacing it. They had no remodel planned. We fitted a new Moen valve with a warranty behind it.
The second had a dripping faucet and a full bathroom remodel coming in a year or two. Moen cartridges carry a lifetime warranty, so the part cost nothing. They paid for our time and kept their money for the remodel.
Same brand, different advice. The difference was their situation, not what we felt like selling.
We know how houses around here are plumbed
In a lot of Baytown houses, the tub or shower valve backs onto a closet. When that is the case, we cut the sheetrock from the closet side and fit an access panel instead of patching it. It costs nothing extra now, and the next time anything needs doing back there, the plumber opens a panel instead of cutting your wall again.
Where the valve allows it, we cut in from the front through the tile instead, measured so the escutcheon covers the opening. Matching fifty-year-old tile is close to impossible and a tile setter is a second trade to pay for.
We try to leave houses easier to work on than we found them.
We work without a torch where it matters
On copper we use Viega MegaPress press fittings — a cold, mechanical joint made with a press tool instead of a flame. On a wood-sided house in Beach City, and in attics packed with timber and insulation, that is the difference between a routine repair and an open flame next to your framing.
Commercial and contractor work
A steady part of our work is jobs that other contractors and in-house maintenance teams legally cannot do themselves — permits, gas tests, meter relocations and anything an inspector has to sign off on. All of it performed under Master Plumber License MPL 38224.
- A facility maintenance company across the Houston area whose in-house plumber is not licensed — we do their annual gas pressure testing for daycares and restaurants.
- A driveway contractor in Mont Belvieu who needed a water meter relocated before he could pour. We moved it about fourteen feet, the city passed it, and the driveway went in on schedule.
- A Baytown car dealership with a leaking two-inch main in the repair shop that their own maintenance team could not stop. We cut out the failed section, went back with ProPress and a new Watts valve, and had water back on in about three hours.

Common questions
Do you charge for a quote?
Call us and describe what is happening and we will tell you what we need to see. For most work we come out, look at it, and give you a bid before anything is taken apart. On a water heater replacement in Mont Belvieu we bid it and installed it the same day, because nobody wants to sit a week without hot water waiting on a quote.
Are you actually licensed?
Yes. MVP Plumbing LLC operates under Master Plumber License MPL 38224. That license is what lets us pull permits, do gas work that requires city inspection, and sign off on jobs an inspector has to pass. It is printed in the footer of every page on this site so you can check it.
How fast can you get here in an emergency?
We answer the phone 24 hours. How fast we arrive depends on where you are and what we are already on, and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than guessing to keep you on the line. If your problem is a burst line, the first thing we will do on the phone is walk you through shutting the water off.
