How it works

The financing option appears on the quote we send you.

So the first step is simply asking for a quote. When the estimate arrives, the financing option is on it. There is no separate application form to find, and there is no public pre-qualification link on this site — it only exists on a sent estimate.

Why we do not publish a rate

You will notice there is no APR, no rate range and no minimum credit score anywhere on this page. That is deliberate.

Rates change and lender criteria change. A number published on a website is accurate on the day it is written and slowly becomes a lie afterwards — and the person it misleads is the one making a decision based on it. Your real terms come from Acorn when you pre-qualify, and those are the only ones worth planning around.

When financing actually makes sense

Being straight about this: most plumbing jobs do not need financing. A drain cleared, a valve replaced, a water heater swapped — those are usually paid for like any other repair.

Where it genuinely helps is the work that arrives unplanned and large:

Sewer line repair and tunneling. Nobody budgets for a line that has lost its fall under their slab. It is also work that gets worse and more expensive the longer it waits, so paying over time is often better than waiting to save up.

Repipes. Galvanized rusting through at one joint means it is rusting everywhere along that run. A repipe is a planned four-figure job that prevents an unplanned series of them.

Tankless conversions. The cost here is front-loaded into gas and venting work rather than the unit itself.

Emergency replacements. A water heater that failed this morning is not a purchase you planned this month.

What we will not do

We will not use financing to talk you into a larger job than you need. If the honest recommendation is the smaller repair, that is the recommendation you get, and it stands whether or not you could finance the bigger one.

We told an apartment owner in Baytown that a fifty-year-old galvanized riser feeding eight units should be replaced entirely. He chose to patch it. That was his call to make, and we did the patch.
