Every quote on this page is a real excerpt from a real Google review. If we cannot show you who said something and where, it does not go on the site — the same rule we apply to photographs, where every image is real MVP work and pages with no photo yet show a gap instead of a stock image.
It is easy to write a glowing paragraph and sign it “Sarah in Baytown”. It is worth nothing, and most people can smell it.
Why the review count is not the whole story
A star rating tells you people were satisfied. It does not tell you what the company actually does when there is a judgement call.
So alongside the reviews, here is the sort of thing that does not show up in a rating. We offered a customer in Chambers County a camera inspection on a slow tub, then told them that if it was our house we would not bother — the hairball came out, the cable ran clean, and they would only have been paying for a picture of a working pipe.
We also told an apartment owner in Baytown that his fifty-year-old galvanized riser should be replaced rather than patched. He chose the patch. We did the patch, because it was his call to make.
