Where We Work

Where We Work

Baytown and Mont Belvieu are home. We work across Chambers County, the east side of Harris County and the bay area — and travel further for commercial work.

MVP Plumbing is based in Baytown and works across Chambers County, the east side of Harris County and the bay area. Licensed master plumber, MPL 38224, since 2018.

Below is where we actually work, with a line on the kind of work we have done in each. Real jobs, not a list of towns copied off a map.

Baytown

Home. Apartment repipes, gas yard lines and meter lock-offs, a care home tunnelling job, commercial work at a car dealership and a church gym.

Mont Belvieu

Where a large share of our work happens. Water heaters, tankless warranty repairs, water line repairs, toilet and valve work, and a water meter relocation for a driveway contractor.

Beach City

Hose bib and main shutoff replacement on a wood-sided house, using press fittings so there was no open flame near the siding.

Clear Lake

A fifteen-foot tunnel under the slab after a camera showed the line had lost its fall and pulled apart at a joint.

League City

Annual gas pressure testing for a licensed daycare, done for a facility maintenance company covering the Houston area.

Anahuac

A sewer line replacement through a trench across the yard, a water leak repaired underneath a raised house in PEX, and a whole-house plumbing remodel.

Dayton

A kitchen line cleared of grease from the outside cleanout with a sink machine, a toilet reset on a new closet flange after it leaked at the floor, and a slab leak.

Crosby

An attic water heater found leaking into its pan and draining out the side wall, replaced. A tub drain in an apartment complex leaking into the unit below.

Highlands

A gas leak found with soap and water and capped off rather than repaired, because the line fed nothing. All the drain lines replaced under a pier-and-beam house going onto a new septic system, with two new toilets.

La Porte

A split washing machine hose, both hot and cold replaced. Two sections of attic galvanized swapped for PEX. A slow kitchen sink cleared from the outside cleanout.

Liberty

A leak under the house where an old dresser-coupling freeze repair let go, cut out and replaced in CPVC and strapped so it cannot move. A slow tub cleared with a hand machine and the tub shoe cleaned out.

Where else do you work?

We work in these towns too. They do not have a page yet for one reason only: a page here carries job notes and photographs from actual work, and we have not written those up yet. A page with the town name swapped into a template is not something we are going to publish, so these are listed plainly until there is something real to put on them:

Humble · Atascocita

If you are out that way, call and ask. The list reflects where we regularly work, not a fence.

Why this list is not longer

It would be easy to list every town within an hour's drive and claim the whole Houston metro. Plenty of plumbing sites do.

We would rather be the company that actually knows your area. Knowing that a lot of Baytown tub valves back onto a closet, so we can fit an access panel instead of patching your wall. Knowing what fifty-year-old galvanized does in these buildings. Knowing what the local permit and inspection process actually takes, because we went through it last month.

That knowledge does not scale to six hundred square miles, and a plumber who claims it does is telling you something about their marketing rather than their work.

Service pages for a specific town

Where a service has enough local history behind it to say something specific, it gets its own page for that town rather than a line on this one. So far that is sewer line repair and replacement in Baytown.

Commercial work travels further

Commercial customers are a different question. We do gas testing and inspections for a facility maintenance company covering daycares and restaurants across the Houston area, and we travel for that work. If you manage properties across the region, talk to us regardless of what is on this list.

Emergency coverage

We answer 24 hours across our service area. How fast we can get to you depends on where you are and what we are already on, and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than guessing to keep you on the line. See 24-hour emergency plumbing.

Common questions

Do you charge extra for travel?

Ask when you call and we will be straight with you about it. Baytown and Mont Belvieu are home. The further out a job is, the more the travel matters, and we would rather tell you that up front than surprise you on an invoice.

Will you come out this far for a small job?

Sometimes the honest answer is that a small job a long way out does not make sense for either of us, and there is a plumber closer to you who should do it. We will say so. For larger work, or commercial work, we travel.

Do you cover Houston?

For commercial work, yes. For residential, our service area is the east side and the bay area as listed on this page rather than Houston generally. We would rather be the plumber who actually knows your area than a name on a map covering six hundred square miles.

My town is not on this list. Can you still help?

Call and ask. The list reflects where we regularly work, not a fence. For commercial work in particular we travel well beyond it.
